Booking and cancellation terms

These terms apply to bookings made directly on loscarujos.com. Booking means accepting them.

Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed once the full price of the stay has been paid. Nothing is left to settle on arrival.
  • Payment goes through Stripe. Your card details do not pass through this site.
  • You will receive an email confirmation with the details of the stay.

Cancellation

These are the same terms as on our Airbnb listing: booking here should never be the worse deal.

  • More than 14 days before arrival: full refund.
  • Between 14 and 7 days before: 50 % of the amount is refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before, or not turning up: no refund.
  • You can also cancel free of charge within 24 hours of booking, as long as at least 7 days remain before arrival.
  • If we are the ones who cancel, the refund is full, whatever the date.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, within 14 days at most.

Under article 103.l of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation booked for a specific date. The cancellation terms above apply instead.

Arrival and departure

  • Check-in from 4 pm. Check-out before 11 am.
  • Other times are possible if the house is free: write to us.
  • Directions are sent a few days before you travel.

The house

  • Maximum capacity: 4 guests. People not named on the booking cannot stay.
  • Minimum stay is 2 nights.
  • No parties, no events.
  • No smoking indoors.
  • The pool is private and unsupervised. Children remain the responsibility of the adults with them.
  • Damage caused during the stay is at the guest’s expense.

Guest register

Spanish law requires us to report the details of every guest to the Ministry of the Interior. On arrival we will ask for each person’s identity card, NIE or passport. These details are used for nothing else.

Personal data

The details you give us when booking are used to arrange your stay and to meet our legal and tax obligations. They are passed to nobody else, except where the law requires it. You can ask to see them, correct them or have them deleted by writing to us.
